... the trash you see on the right is three days' worth for 12-15 people. That's 114 meals. On the left is our compostables. Everyone embraced the idea of separating our food waste, which made me very happy because I wasn't sure how it would be received ("geez, that crazy recycling nut can't even give it a rest while on vacation, and now she's making us do it, too!")

There were mice, so I froze the organics until it was time to go home. Made for a more pleasant drive, too.
