I joined TerraCycle's brigades and you can, too

I don't know why it took me this long to do it, but now that I finally am, I'm going at it full-force. I'm collecting granola/energy bar wrappers, chip bags, cookie wrappers, candy wrappers, coffee-bean bags, juice pouches and corks for recycling through TerraCycle. They take things considered to be trash and turn them into cool things like pencil cases, shopping bags and messenger bags. I wrote about them a while back, but now that I'm an official collector, I'm posting again.

The money I raise will go to support Linden Hills Power & Light, a neighborhood non-profit working on energy conservation and waste reduction. Each wrapper, bag, and pouch will generate 2 cents for LHP&L. You can sign up, too, and make money for your school or non-profit! There are 27 brigades to choose from (Chip Bag Brigade, Candy Wrapper Brigade, Yogurt Cup Brigade, etc.).

  1. I have a bunch of chip bags. I was part of the Chip Brigade but had a problem with my Terra Cycle account. When I set up a new account I got waitlisted. I could send you my bags for your to turn in. Would you be interested in something like that? Thanks!
